Theology and Doctrine
There are two recognizable components that comprise our theology (critical study of God) and doctrine (biblical teaching of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit). The doctrine of God and Christology which is the doctrine of Christ. Within this theology is the three Person Trinity which are united to form one complete God. These persons are: 1. God the Father, 2. Jesus the Son and 3. the Holy Spirit. Each person has equal authority according to scripture with God being the head (1 Corinthians 8:6). Jesus being the equal to the father in all things (John 5:21-23) and the Spirit is recognized as being equal to the Father and Son (Matthew 12:31). We believe that God is Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Immutable. That He is Unity, Righteous, Truth, Love, Goodness, Grace, Mercy, Holiness, Transcendent, Eternity, Immensity, and Justice. With that, the word of God is inerrant and given to us from God. The Doctrine of Christ is similar as signified by the Trinity or Triune God. Christ is the Son of God, Christ is virgin born, He is incarnate, and His eternality and deity are inseparable. Christ lineage to the line of Judah and David, He was prophesied from the OT, He had a soul and spirit, He is a deity, He is rejected, and He was brought to death, resurrected from the dead and now living at the right hand of His Father in heaven. He is our only way to the Father in heaven (John 14:6)
What We Believe
- We have eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ with His death and the power of His resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:3-5)
- The Bible is God’s word and the revelation of His will to man and accept it as our rule for faith and conduct. (Revelation 1-3)
- God’s ordained order for His people is Christian fellowship, mutual edification and evangelical effort, in the form of local churches. (1 Corinthians 1:9)
- Each church is to assemble together for worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction in the Word of God, and the work of the ministry (1 Corinthians 1:9)
- Each church should exercise the gifts and offices provided for in the New Testament to obtain the Christian goal, “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-13)
- God has called and anointed us to emphasize the fullness of the Gospel through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Luke 3:16)
- The only way to the kingdom of Heaven is through repentant of sins and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior. (John 14:6; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Acts 4:12 John 3:36)
- The word of God is inerrant and unchanging (Hebrews 13:8) – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever).
- (Matthew 28:18-20) is a commandment that is to be followed by all Christian believers.
- Your Christian walk includes developing a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- When walking in the Spirit you are separating yourself from the world through the power of Christ.
- Teaching verse-by-verse in the bible.
- Prayer and fasting is a main tenant in the ministry.
- The Biblical definition of marriage. Scripture teaches in (Genesis 1:27) that God created the first two human beings as male and female, designing them to complete one another and intending their sacred union as the means of procreation for the human race.
- We believe that marriage is the exclusive union of a man and a woman in covenant with one another and with God for life (Genesis 2:24).
- We reserve the right to abide by these Biblical convictions as a matter of obedience to Almighty God and in the exercise of our religious liberty guaranteed us in the United States Constitution.
